Dr. Tara Earls

Biography

Dr. Tara Earls grew up in Roslyn and was introduced to dentistry as a patient of our DAFKO office. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She returned to Long Island to attend dental school at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded the Patricia Lewis Memorial Scholarship for excellence in pediatric dentistry. After obtaining her D.D.S., Dr. Tara went on to earn her specialty certificate in pediatric dentistry from Stony Brook University Hospital, where she served as co-chief resident.

Throughout her dental career, Dr. Tara has maintained strong involvement in Dental Outreach. She routinely participates in local outreach events like Give Kids a Smile Day and Oral Health Seminars at local elementary schools. She has also traveled internationally to provide dental care to underserved populations.

Dr. Tara is so excited to be joining the DAFKO team. She attributes much of her positive sentiment toward oral health and dentistry to the affirmative experiences she had at our office as a child. As such, she strives to impart a similar sense of enthusiasm onto her patients so that they will grow up feeling empowered to maintain good oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tara enjoys spending time with her family, reading, painting, and spoiling her dog.
