Pediatric Dentistry - This specialty dentistry focuses on the specific dental care, concerns, and conditions that apply to children and teens. Through growth and development, having a dental team that knows what to look for and how to address the dental health of this young population is important. 

Preventative Pediatric Dentistry - Preventative treatment allows our pediatric population to maintain good oral health with the use of regular cleanings, Silver Diamine Fluoride treatments, diagnostic tools, and comprehensive oral evaluations.  

Dental Sealants - The use of dental sealants greatly decreases the incidence of cavities in the most cavity-prone areas. It is a simple treatment that can come with great reward. 

Restorative Dentistry - Sometimes things such as cavities, tooth decay, and dental trauma happen. When they do, restorative dentistry helps to restore the teeth in both appearance and functionality using procedures involving white composite fillings, dental crowns, root canals, etc. 

Extractions - Restorative dentistry has some amazing capabilities. But when a tooth is beyond repair, it may require extraction. We do this in the most gentle, comfortable way.  

Emergency Dentistry - We work with a population that is always on the move. Kids stay busy and active - and this can easily lead to the need for an emergency visit. We work to prioritize our schedules so that we can address those who need emergency care - when they need it. 

Orthodontics - Our patients have access to interceptive orthodontic treatments that may reduce the need for future orthodontic treatment. We also have partnered with an exceptional local orthodontist to provide consistent, comprehensive oral care. 

Sedation Dentistry - It is crucial that young patients have a comfortable, pain-free dental experience. In order to deliver this, we regularly use local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (laughing gas), depending on the procedure. 

Pediatric Dental Anesthesiologist - IV sedation, commonly referred to as general anesthesia, is available in our office for those young patients undergoing surgical dental procedures. This is carefully administered by a licensed anesthesiologist. 

Special Needs Pediatric Dentistry - Every child requires their own set of needs and care when visiting the dentist. Our entire dental team has been trained - and has experience - in treating the oral care needs of those patients with special needs.

Visiting the dentist as a child sets the tone for lifelong oral health. The experience should be one that is comfortable and full of gentle care, as there is no room for unease or fear at a children’s dentist.
